So this scripture has been a recurring thought and everywhere I turn I see it and hear it.
Proverbs 25:2 New King James Version (NKJV)

It is the glory of God to conceal a matter,
But the glory of kings is to search out a matter.

The other night on Instagram I saw the above post and it was like hitting Bingo for me. So I saved it and thought I'll go back to this because I feel the Lord is telling me something. So late when I had the time I went to get the post that I had saved and I spent the next 2 HOURS searching for it. I could not find it! So I went on Twitter and started following Ron Carpenter who said it and I still couldn't find it. So I messaged him and asked him and he (a very busy man) answered me and finished the quote! I told him that I had to laugh because I really felt that the Lord was showing me a principle here about searching and asking and receiving.

So this is the message. I believe that so many people get derailed and frustrated in their Christian journey is because they are unwilling and don't know that we must SEARCH out the things of God aka the Kingdom. We live in an instant give me it now society with 20 second sound bites and my beloved 90 second muffin I make in the morning. We (I) want it now and we want it to come easy, and that just not the way the Kingdom works. So much so that Jesus when he taught he taught in parables.

I have heard over and over again "well I tried that God thing and it didn't work"

Well, God is not an it and the Kingdom is where He's at and if you search for him you will find him. I know I can hear people saying, well if he's a good God why wouldn't he just give it to you. He does just give it to you in regards to SALVATION, but the KINGDOM which is where the "all this shall be added to you" is at and it's only trusted with seekers, searchers and miners. They will know the value of it and they won't misappropriate the Kingdom of God!

Now I don't want you to think that I have attained the market in this, I have not! But believe you me I am ramping up my seeking! Because friends the GOOD NEWS is this, there is MORE. Philippians 3:13-14 Brothers I do not consider that I have made it my own. But one thing I do: forgetting what lies behind and straining forward to what lies ahead, I press on toward the goal for the prize of the upward call of God in Christ Jesus.

I say all of this not to condemn in anyway but to encourage those of you that might me frustrated that answers are not coming. Keep up the search it's God's good pleasure to give you the Kingdom.

One last thing, and one other quote, I thank God for all the seekers who share the Kingdom with us and I thank God that we can all be that seeker.

"God doesn't give The Kingdom to casual Christians. The Kingdom is a pearl of great price that's hid from casual. He needs to know you love Him before you get keys to unlock the Kingdom." Ron Carpenter

Thanks for listening, I hope it helps someone out there that might be giving up on seeking the Lord.
Peace
Cathy
